Financial Aid

At the Culinary Institute of St. Louis, students and their families work individually with a representative to develop a personalized financial plan to cover the costs of investing in their education.

There are several types of financial aid programs available for those who qualify:

•  Federal Pell Grants

•  Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants

•  Federal Direct Subsidized Stafford Loans

•  Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loans

•  Federal Direct PLUS Loans (Parent Loans)

•  Alternative and Personal Loans

•  Installment Payment Plans

•  Scholarships

Each type of financial aid program has its own criteria and rules. Awards can vary based on each person’s and each family’s situation and some programs require applying by a deadline. Your representative can help you throughout the process of applying for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and can work with you to help optimize your financial aid plan.

To help keep your education affordable, tuition rates will never go up from year to year as long as you stay enrolled full-time in the program.

After you apply, your personal Culinary Institute of St. Louis representative will work with you to develop an individual financial plan that works best for you. In addition to tuition costs, each financial plan includes the cost of items like books, supplies, fees, and even residence facilities. Your financial plan will include all of these costs up front so there are no surprises later on.
